Loving Our New Beads

When my friend, Tracey, told me that she wanted to have a workshop using our new beads, I was a little nervous. I've made things with our microbeads, but the colored beads were a new item that I hadn't played with.

Now that I've worked with them, I can say that I am hooked! I enjoyed working with them so much, that I ordered all the other colors on my next order. The sticky strip is strong enough to hold the micro and the larger beads, and the new Mono adhesive we sell is what I used to make the bead centers for the flower punches. My favorite new technique might be using staples with beads threaded on them. Once I played with them, it really was alot easier to do than I would have imagined.

Everyone should have received an email about the February technique class being postponed. March 25th we will have our next technique class, and we will focus on the ways to use glitter, and we will be working with our mini and micro beads as well. The price will be the usual $5 but everyone will receive two technique tags, and we'll basically have two classes for the price of one! Hope to see you all there!

New Rub-Ons

Hey everybody,

I just wanted to post this card really quickly to show everybody the new rub-ons. I just got them recently, and they are wonderful! They go on very easily, and they coordinate with many of our stamp sets and our punches. In this card, I used a rub-on over one of our 5 petal flower punches. The best thing about the rub-ons is that there is a set of them you can get for free during sale-a-bration. The rub-ons in the new catalog have two sheets a piece, one in white and one in black; but the sale-a-bration rub-ons come in white, black, and brown and olive as well!

I'm hearing that many of you have started receiving your new mini catalogs as well. Ordering from the Occasions mini catalog starts on March 1st, so if there are some items in it that you need, remember that if you order $50 from the new mini (or a combination of items from the mini and the regular catalog) you will get a free item from the sale-a-bration catalog through March 17th.

Hope everybody is comfy and safe indoors today during this weird storm!

This Space Intentionally Left Blank

Hi everybody,

I couldn't really come up with a reason to post anything today, other than that I have some projects I haven't shared yet. I don't really have any new things (like the cards we'll be making March 9th) yet, because I've been really busy with sale-a-bration this month. March will see things slow down quite a bit, so hopefully I'll be back to creating more projects then. I have a bunch of new stuff that I can't wait to try out! But until then, I'll just keep sharing some of the things I finished while waiting for my stuff from the new catalog :)

Better late than never?

Hi everybody,

Sorry I am late to post this, but this is one of the cards that we will make for the glitter class on Tuesday, the 26th. The other card we are making will use the sticky letters that are new to the catalog this year. They are pretty neat, and I’m looking forward to using them! I just got my latest shipment in on Thursday evening, so I haven’t had a chance to play with them yet, but I will post the card once it is finished.

Hope everybody is having a great weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi everybody,

Just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Valentine's Day! I'll be posting sometime tomorrow with a picture of one of the cards we'll be making for the glitter class on the 26th, and I'll have information about an exciting promotion for hostesses that is coming up for March 18 - April 30th!

Until then, hope you are enjoying the day with your loved ones!

Stamp-a-Stack Details

Hi everybody,

The above cards were made with the new Embrace Life set from Stampin' Up! Quickly becoming another of my favorites! We used this set recently at my January Stamp-a-Stack to make several cards.

On Sunday, March 9th, I'm going to have a special 'sale-a-bration' stamp-a-stack. We'll be starting at 12pm and will go until you are finished. Because everybody works at their own pace, feel free to come later if you need to, and stay as long as you'd like, or leave as early as you'd like. The cost will be $30, and we'll make 12 cards. RSVPs are due in by March 5th, and for anybody who pre-pays by that date, I will take $5 off, and you'll only pay $25 for the day.

For every $50 purchase that is made during the stamp-a-stack, each person will not only get a free stamp set or rub-on set from the sale-a-bration mini catalog, but will get one entry into a raffle for a level three hostess set from the Spring/Summer catalog.

Hope that you all can make it, and as always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Sale-a-Bration is Here!

Hi everybody!

Sale-a-bration is finally here! It is the best time to host a workshop because not only do you get a free stamp set or rub on set with every $50 that you spend, but you get another free set once your workshop totals reach $300 (two free sets for a $600 workshop, and so on...)and you still get all the other regular hostess benefits as well. And remember that these sets will never be available for sale, you can only get them for free during this promotion!

Sale-a-bration runs from February 1st through March 17th, so be sure to contact me if you'd like to schedule a workshop or place an order.

Many of you have asked when my next Stamp-a-Stack will be. The answer is March 9th! I will be having a stamp-a-stack on Sunday, March 9th starting at noon. We will be making 12 cards, and the price will be $30 (with a discounted price of $25 for anyone who pre-pays for the event by March 3rd). Be looking for more details soon!

I am restarting my monthly technique classes this month as well. Tuesday, February 26th we will be learning about all the different ways to use glitter in your paper crafts! The cost is $5 (or free with at least a $15 order) and we will be making 2 cards. I will be posting pictures of the projects in the near future.

Wow, a lot of stuff to post about today! Be looking for my new newsletter in your email box, and be watching this blog for more updates soon! Have a great (but rainy) day everybody!
