Cards for October 4th

Hi Everybody,

It's been a hectic few weeks, so bear with me :) These are the samples that we'll be making at the October 4th Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make three of each card, and the price will be $30 for each person. Anyone who prepays by October 1st will pay only $25 for the event!

Please RSVP by October 1st so that I can have supplies cut for you. I will be emailing everyone on my mailing list with more particulars about the day, and with some of the events that are upcoming. If you would like to be on my email list, please contact me at ksteigert@hotmail.com

If you haven't been receiving emails from me each month about upcoming events, please let me know, so I can look into that for you, as well.

Thansk everybody!

BIG NEWS - Online Ordering!

Hey everybody!

I can't tell you how excited I am about this news! You can now order your Stampin' Up! merchandise from me on my website :) So anytime you want to place an order, you can do so. No need to wait for a workshop. Your online order will give you hostess benefits if you spend $150 or above.

So all you need to do to place an order is to go to my website and click in the upper right hand corner on 'shop now'. You'll want to make sure you order through my website, and not from the regular stampin' up site though, because the prices through my website are the same prices you see in your catalog. Ordering through the Stampin' Up! website is more expensive (everything has an additional 10% cost tacked onto it).

So click on the logo at the side of this blog to go to my website, or type in my web address directly. It is: www.keathesteigert.stampinup.com

Thanks everybody!

Stamp-a-Stack on Sunday, the 7th

Hey Everybody,

Just wanted to post a picture of the cards we'll be making this month. We will be making three each of these four designs. The cost is $30, but if you are prepaid for the event by Friday, I will take $5 off the cost of the event.

We will be doing another raffle for a level three hostess set this month. Every $50 in merchandise ordered will get you one entry into the raffle, and this is good for both people attending for the day, and for anyone who just wants to place an order this weekend!

We will be starting at 1pm on Sunday and will go until we are done, or until you are ready to leave :) Please RSVP by Friday if you would like to attend, so that I can have supplies cut for you!

Thanks!

Ugh!

Ok, so unless my computer is just screwed up, I can't see my last post with the dimensions for the 'Waterfall Card' project that we learned at technique class last week. If you all can see the last post, then please forgive me for posting it again. Otherwise, here are the directions and measurments for the card:

Waterfall Card

Cut neutral colored cardstock in the following measurements: 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" (4). Cut Colored Cardstock in the following measurements: 2" x 2"(4), 9" x 2"(1), ¾" x 4" (1).

Stamp images on the 4 neutral squares of cardstock and mat them with the 2X2 colored cardstock squares.

Score your 9 x 2 strip of colored cardstock. Starting at end of strip, score 2",2¾", 3½", and 4¼" from the end.

Attach the small strip of paper to the card with brads or eyelets. Do not use adhesive in the middle of piece.

Next, attach long scored piece to the horizontal strip you just attached to the card front. To do this, slide the longest section scored piece between the horizontal strip and the card, making sure to center it in the middle of your card. Line up the very edge of the scored end of piece A with bottom of the horizontal strip and attach with adhesive.

Attach your first stamped image to the bottom 2" x 2" space at the scored end of long strip. Apply adhesive to the scored sections of long piece, and attach.
